Initially brought on as Script Supervisor, I was promoted to Co-Director during pre-production when it became clear that the writer-director—who also starred in the film—would require on-set creative support. I had developed the project’s production bible, including a detailed scene breakdown, lined script, and shooting schedule, making me deeply familiar with the material and its logistical needs.
As Co-Director, I worked closely with the DP to shape daily shot flows and coordinated two-camera setups for efficient coverage. I provided on-set direction, guided performance adjustments, and made real-time decisions to ensure creative continuity. I also sourced a new Script Supervisor and oversaw their work on scene notes, coordinating with the DIT for seamless handoffs at the end of each shoot day.
